I believe that this verdict was a great travesty to the American justice system. I believe that this jury is responsible for setting a murderer free to walk the streets again. How can they charge her for lying without asking themselves why she led the investigation astray? Casey Anthony is guilty of killing her daughter whether it was an accident or not, which I do not believe it was an accident. She researched how to do it and followed thru.
How can a mother or any parent for that matter go out parting and living it up while in her words she said her daughter was missing. She was missing by the hands of her own mother by murdering her and throwing her remains in a trash bag and then drove around with her in the trunk of her car. Plus knowing all this while she was in custody before Caylee remains were found, she calls home and all she is worried about is talking to her boyfriend not whether there was news about her little 2 year old daughter. This woman is the definition of evil.
The jury in this case should be ashamed of themselves they came up with a not guilty verdict in less than 12 hours, they didn’t review any of the case evidence and put their blinders on and set a murderer free. No wonder they did not address the press they wanted to scurry off to their life and forget all about poor Caylee. There was no Justice for Caylee Marie Anthony on July 5, 2011.
This whole case just makes me sick to my stomach, a little girl is dead by the hands of the person who was to protect her, and to top it all off the jury, the lawyer and Casey will make money off a little girl’s death, so, very sad as to where our society has come.
